Dalaman Marina Development to Start This Year
Talk of a Marina being built in Dalaman has been circulating for a number of years and we can now confirm that construction will begin at the end of 2009.
The Dogus Toursism Group has just completed a new marina on the Didim Peninsula which opened this year, and with that project complete the company will now turn its attentions to Dalaman. Dalaman Marina will be one of the biggest in the area with capacity for 650 yachts, and 5 ocean liners, and will actually be located on the edge of Sarigerme, with a new road put in place for quicker access to Dalaman Airport.
The new marina together with other developments and the proximity of the international airport are all expected to increase the attractiveness of both Dalaman and Sarigerme as a holiday destination.
